What really sucks about this update is that I have to get so many things I won't ever use to get 50/50 ...

I don't need Destroyer weapons or Oppressor weapons or Tormented weapons or whatever. Even if I did need them I only need four sets at most. Armour is even worse - I only need two armour sets at most, and I already have both. So to get 50/50 I'm going to have to buy all these armour and weapons and then salvage them for materials ...

Fortunately one thing I'm not is poor, so getting all this isn't a problem. It's just incredible wastage, very frustrating and man I don't want to finish VQ'ing Tyria.

I really like how they implemented the reward system, I was preparing for much worse. It its current state, both 'casual' and 'pro' players are being represented realistically.

The only beef I have with it is the lack of rewards at higher point levels. Although they might actually add more reward items to the list later. If not, no sweat, it's pretty damn good as it is.

I assumed the linked accounts bonus referred to linked to ncsoft store thingie.

I'm pretty sure the linked account thing is just for using the HoM, which links your account to gw2. You will notice that everyone with atleast something in their HoM has it.

Nope, i'm almost 100% sure it's for having Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. Two of my friends who have all three campaigns but don't have EoTN and have never been in the HoM both have the 3 points.

Easy way to get 5 points -

*Find runners for Phoenix, Black Moa and Black Widow (I found free runners for the moa and phoenix easily)

*Make a PVP character, equip charm animal, add lvl 20 elder wolf to menargerie. Grab the wolf on a PVE character, add to HoM

*Unlock MoX. add to HoM

+5 Points.

31/50 here. Started at 26, but adding minis and heroes got me over 30 and maxed the reward goodies.

Only need Obsidian to max Armor, and I figure I can get to 35/50 or even 40/50 easily enough by obtaining more primeval armor remnants, more white minis, and (ick) a few Destroyer weapons, and working on maxing more titles - that last part is good since it's account-based and I have a good legendary-skill-hunter thing going on my warrior, and my mesmer is well along on drunkard.

On one of my mule accounts I only have Prophecies & EOTN & that account has 3 pts...

My main was 47/50 got to 50/50 last night.

Needed a Black Moa, Phoenix (death leveled in the Menagerie), Vabbian Armor & 1 Oppressor Weapon (got a spear).

I've just given this a try myself. I have 4 accounts, as follows:

1. P+F+N+E
2. P+F+N+E
3. P+F+N
4. P

The first one has everything on the reward scale unlocked, and has 50 points. On the other 3 ones, I have completed nothing that contributes to the reward scale, but still each of them has 3 points and has the Account Linked option unlocked.

Therefore my conclusion is that every GW2 account will get at least 3 points, as long as there is a GW1 account linked to them.

Like I mentioned here, I am almost 100% sure that the three points are from linking your GW1 account to your GW2 account. Since you will be required to link them together in order to get rewards, the three points are there even though you have not linked them together yet.

I thought I read there will be something separate for the GWAMM title. There was a Q & A section I can no longer find, that said it was separate from this HoM reward thingy. It could just be another title.

I'm at 29 for GWAMM and will go for it regardless. I've come this far...

Overall, I'm happy with the rewards. However, it would be nice to get something for those last twenty points

besides a title.

Heh, one tiny thing I've noticed: the Mountaincall Warhorn. It says it's a "fabled horn that recalls the glory of Ascalon". So if it looks like Stormcaller, and it is of Ascalonian origin, then why not call it Stormcaller Warhorn? It'd instantly feel twice as awesome.

I'm just sayin'.

46/50. Kinda bummed that my Hall was "Full" according to previous guidelines, but with the addition of requiring at least 1 Oppressor Weapon WELL AFTER beating the BfLA, and not really liking the Oppressor skins so I sold the sword, shield, etc...whatevs. The rewards and how the page is set up is top-notch. I LOVE the calculator. I was so stoked when I saw it and what I was getting. I only have a few more weapons to go and 19 minipets to 50 so overall I am very pleased.
